Olympic flag

There are five interlocking rings, also the Olympic flag.
The five colours of the rings are blue, green, yellow,  black, red with a white background.
Did you know that the rings represent five parts of the world joined together in the Olympic movement?
Africa, The Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe are the continents for the Olympic.
Baron Pierre designed the Olympic flag from 1913 to 1914.

Olympics

In 2012 the Summer Olympics are going to be held in London, England. The open ceremony for Olympics is July 27, 2012 and the closing ceremony is in August the 12, 2012. The Korero for the London Olympics is inspire a generation.

Taekwondo

The Olympic event I am doing is Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art.  

This is how you play Taekwondo. The only way to attack is to kick them and your arms are for blocking. The way to win Taekwondo is by knocking out your opponent.

Taekwondo was invented 50 BC by the Silla Dynasty warriors  in Korea.
Taekwondo stared in the Olympics in 1988.

The equipment you need is a belt, trunk protector, dobok, forearm and shin guards, head protector, also a groin guard.

Taekwondo is played in a court. The court is 8x8 big.

Reflection

Reading:

This term I have learnt more how to show my work in a different ways. I have improved in reading books better and finishing of work and answering questions.I also need to find answers quickly and not rush.Next term I need to improve to not rush the work I have been given. I also need to find answers faster and answers correct.

Maths:
This term I have been learning to do tidy tens. I got most of my answers right, sometimes I rush my work. Next time I will take my time.

Art Gallery

When I almost entered the Art Gallery I felt Nervous. I felt Nervous because people might laugh at my picture. But then I got over it.

When I entered the Art Gallery I saw pictures beside Me when I got in. It wasn't amazing . They made it thereself.


I saw people art work on the wall. They try to copy different artist.

My favourite piece was Anthony's one.







Overall I didn't enjoy it. I hope next time it has better art.
