Olympic Flame

In 1963, the olympic torch was first lit in olympics. They also did a relay around the continents were the olympic is held. It was first in Berlin, Germany. They held the torch while they run, walk, and other types of transport.

They carried the torch until they get to the next runner. The last runner into the stadium has to light the big torch. Each olympics have a new design for each torch.

Olympics flame is traditional to Olympics. Greece lit the olympic flame first. It was around  2700 years ago when it first lit.
