Antarctic Penguins

WALT: Summarise the main point of a text, in my own words.

Penguins don’t live in the north.  All of the Penguins live in the southern oceans around the world.

Penguins can’t fly. When penguins go ashore their short legs do little waddling steps.

During winter in Antarctica the sun doesn't rise. While its winter the temperature is below freezing and its gailing most of the time.

Few living things in Antarctica can survive but male Emperor penguins can. All through winter they stay freezing on the cold pack of ice.

To help penguins keep warm they have a thick layer of blubber. Blubber is under their skin.

The penguins grow a overlap fluffy feathers. It is thick and makes an waterproof coat.
